閉店して使われなくなった元お肉屋さん。築60年の2階建ての店舗は、空き家となっていました。
A former butcher store that was closed and no longer in use. The 60-year-old two-story store had been vacant for some time.
かなりボロボロの状態でした。
It was in a pretty tattered state.
約40平方メートルの内装を全改装し、アートスペースに。
The 40-square-meter interior has been completely renovated and turned into an art space.
床と壁を壊し…
Break the floor and walls…
新しい壁を作り…
Build a new wall…
窓を作り、
Make a window
生コン車を呼んで…
Call a ready-mix truck.
土間打ちをし（床を作り）…
Build a dirt floor.
壁に絵を描いて…
Draw a picture on the wall.
天井から柱を生やしたりして、
A pillar grows from the ceiling.
1か月かけて完成しました。
It took a month to complete.

この空間は現在シャッターが下りており、自由に入ることはできません。
This space is currently shuttered and cannot be freely entered.
正面のシャッター絵は、Googleのストリートビューで見ることができます。

Open Sea の作品に入っている数字は、この作品のある緯度と経度を表す数字です。
The numbers in the “Open Sea” piece are the latitude and longitude where the piece is located.
私たちはこの情熱を届けたい。現在、日本に存在するこの不思議な空間に光を当てたいです。
